Water marbling has completely taken over my nail polish supply. It is ridiculously fun and addictive, and actually pretty easy. It's like Easter egg dye for your nails! Who could say no to that?
At first I taped my fingers really well, and then I didn't, on a whim. Clean up was actually quite easy sans tape, so I stopped. It seemed wasteful, and really slowed down the process. I'm not patient with these things. I used Essie's Yes We Can pink as a basecoat, but I suspect any light colored polish would work nicely. If that whisper of blue on my middle finger looks familiar, that's because I featured it here. It's amazing how different colors turned out while marbling, versus traditional application.
