I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!
I was away from the computer for two whole days and got absolutely no schoolwork done, but I was busier than ever celebrating the Chapel Dedication in Tonopah and Mother's Day with both my mom and maternal grandma... with a fun night with friends an hour away thrown in for good measure. I would ask for a sleep-recovery weekend, but tomorrow is the last day of school! Huzzah!
As far as the dedication went, we were thrilled, having been close to the "Phoenix Phive" as they dubbed themselves upon arriving from Alabama... and then we were late.
Only by 15 minutes, but we had another new arrival to the family! Such timing.
Thankfully, there was outside overflow seating, so we were able to slip in disruption-free and watch it along with anyone who tuned in on EWTN. The structure doesn't hold as many as it would appear, due to some ingenious secret passageways we were able to explore, after Mass. We were even given permission to go behind the reredos! Such an honor!
We shopped, enjoyed each other's company, Wild Mushroom Truffled Arugula pizza, and various forms of caffeine from Elevate. Happy Mother's Week* to all!
